In a dark room.
I’m grasping blindly at a variety of objects in a dark, dark room
until I find my glasses.
To find my glasses in the dark is a scary task.
If I don’t find my glasses, will I ever find my way out of this room?
but will the glasses even help against the darkness?
Or will they further the dreading realization that I’m stuck here?
By having clear vision, will the dark room become any less scary?
I think not.
Maybe I should be grateful now for what I can’t see, for the ignorant space I find myself, for the blindness that
lets me see.
