3/20: stumbling upon an old google doc that inspired this short story.
3/21: the flow state experienced one hour into the Eras Tour and two thousand words into an essay.
3/22: connecting with an old co-worker whose creative mentorship is a source of great inspiration.
3/23: watching my youngest brother and boyfriend bond over John Wick. I can’t join the conversation but I don’t mind.
3/24: the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences museum which bolstered my youngest brother’s excitement for filmmaking. Seeing a young mind stretch and bloom is a special thing.
3/25: Michelle and Mark, two strangers who quickly joined our boisterous game of Catchphrase in the hotel lounge.
3/26: a tender goodbye with Cameron, whose thoughtfulness extends beyond three thousand miles.
3/27: soaking in the wisdom of several writers in my new fiction writer’s group.
3/28: the generosity of a local bookstore owner who lent me her morning and a chai tea latte.
3/29: a spectacular rainbow after an especially rainy day.
3/30: Beyoncé’s new album Cowboy Carter which I’ve listened to nonstop since it dropped yesterday. A MASTERPIECE!
3/31: Happy Easter from my family to yours! 🐰🧡🐣
